We take PMS Seriously!

Do you get tense, irritable, angry, sad,
or moody the week before your period?

If you do, you could qualify for a research study.

PMS/PMDD Treatment Trial

We are presently seeking women who are between the ages of 18 and 48 and suffer from a severe form of PMS called Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) to participate in a clinical research trial (HIC 0609001839) funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health. The study is investigating “symptom-onset” dosing of Sertraline (Zoloft) as an effective treatment for PMDD.  With “symptom onset” dosing, you only take the study medication on those days when you experience your moderate to severe symptoms prior to getting your period. This means that women can appreciate the benefit of medication while not needing to take pills all month long.  Eligible women receive free care and study medication and can earn up to $325 for their participation. For more details, go to www.sospmdd.com or call Kari at (203) 764-5719 or  Email Kari for info.
