Yale
Pink
and Blue DNA Study

We observed that nearly 1 in every 10 women in the Pink & Blue Study delivered their babies preterm (before the 37th week of pregnancy).  We have received additional funding to explore some possible reasons why women deliver preterm.

This study will look at any genes (the instructions that make up your body) or specific piece of DNA in a mother and in her child that may cause preterm delivery and to see if this gene is influenced by someone’s life experiences. By comparing differences between a mother and child’s DNA with information about lifetime events and birth history, we may be able to identify genes that influence a woman’s risk for preterm delivery.

We will be recruiting participants for the Pink and Blue DNA Study via letter and/or telephone call.  If you have been contacted by our research staff, you are eligible!  Call (203) 764-6764, toll free at (866) 600-6663, or email Brianna today to get started.
