ENSURING THE EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF OUR CITY'S FAMILIES

The New Haven MOMS Partnership, in coordination with families and providers, develops public health approaches to ensuring that pregnant and parenting women achieve the highest possible standards of emotional health and well being throughout their lives.  The MOMS Partnership concentrates its activities on low-income, racially and ethnically diverse, pregnant and parenting women who live within the city limits of New Haven.

The MOMS Partnership convenes an M-Power Parent Group, an Advisory Committee of local and state stakeholders, and works with already existing groups and agencies to assess the mental health needs of women in the City of New Haven/  Community Health Ambassadors assist in outreach and delivery of services.
